Yukon launched last week as a disciplined gold grid. Within the first week the same question kept coming back in messages: "Can I run it with a fixed stop-loss instead, so I know my maximum risk per trade?" Yukon v2.0 answers that.

The original Grid stays exactly as it was. Two new Pattern engines sit next to it, each with a clean 1:4 risk-reward and percent-of-balance lot sizing. Each engine has its own magic number, its own risk control, and runs independently. Run only the Grid for the conservative profile. Run only the Patterns. Run all three together for the strongest combined edge. The panel shows you the combined floating result, per-engine position counts, the live drawdown bar and the unified session countdown across whichever engines you have enabled.

The three engines, in plain words. Grid Classic is the original Yukon: enters with gold momentum in its active hours, averages adverse moves at flat lots, exits the basket at a calculated profit. It suits traders who like a high-win-rate engine that earns its way out of pullbacks. Pattern Long opens H1 long trades via disciplined price-action analysis: on a clean signal it enters one long with a fixed stop-loss and a fixed take-profit at four times the risk, with the lot calculated from your account. Pattern Short does the same on the down side, with the same fixed 1:4 risk-reward.

The numbers, from a continuous real-tick backtest on XAUUSD from January 2025 through May 2026. Grid Classic only, the conservative profile, came in at +30% net over 17 months, +21% annualized, 4.9% maximum drawdown, profit factor 3.90. All-In Combined, with all three engines enabled, came in at +98% net over 17 months, +69% annualized, 9.6% maximum drawdown, profit factor 1.55. The Pattern engines carry a fixed stop-loss on every trade. The Grid stays under its hard equity cap on every tick. Backtest figures, not live trading; the live track record is being built now.

The "will it blow my account" question gets a built-in answer. You set a share of your balance as the cap, default 10%, and Yukon closes the basket the same tick that line is reached. Every time. The 10% default held with comfortable headroom across 30+ months of validation through calm markets, trending years and sharp corrections. The worst case is the number you chose in advance, guaranteed by design.

For existing Yukon customers, v2.0 lands as a free update. Open the MQL5 Market in MetaTrader 5, the update arrives automatically, your settings carry over. The Grid behaves exactly as before. The new Pattern engines are off by default; turn them on when you want them. This is the lifetime-update promise from the launch in action. For new buyers, the current price is $369, and it rises further as Yukon builds its live track record. Every existing customer gets every future version at no extra cost.

Yukon runs on a hedging account, the standard MetaTrader 5 account type for grid strategies. It works on any broker that lists XAUUSD and detects the broker time itself. There is nothing to configure beyond your equity cap and your Pattern risk percent, both validated at sensible defaults.
