2025 was the year the Stein Investments product range grew significantly broader. Several tools expanded their scope in a fundamental way; others were rebuilt on new foundations. Here is what changed.

Custom Alerts and EasyInsight: multi-asset from a single instance

The biggest strategic expansion of the year: starting with version 2.0, Custom Alerts and EasyInsight support not just forex but metals, crypto, indices and equities from the same instance.

Custom Alerts:

  • Forex, gold, crypto, indices and equities can now be monitored together. One tool for the whole watchlist, regardless of asset class.
  • IX Power is now usable as a signal source on forex and gold, not only on indices.
  • Session handling was tightened: no alerts for symbols outside their active trading session.

EasyInsight:

  • Structured data capture for forex, metals, crypto, indices and equities, organised by asset class in separate folders.
  • ATR and range metrics added.
  • Export of eight standard MetaTrader indicators (including MA, RSI and MACD) as well as bid, ask and spread data.
  • Timelapse recordings now resume automatically after a terminal restart. No manual intervention, no gaps in the recording.
  • Connection diagnostics and expanded monitoring: export issues are flagged early, before data goes missing.

Smart Stop family: new foundations

The Smart Stop family rebuilt its core in 2025.

Smart Stop Scanner:

  • Version 2.0 introduces an adaptive SL percentage model with percentile scaling. Stop distances are now classified against historical data rather than displayed as a raw value alone.
  • A new "Dist %" column shows the stop distance as an ADR percentage, with a classification from Danger to Very Safe.
  • Contextual tooltips with classification appear directly on each symbol row.
  • A high-contrast theme for better readability.

Smart Stop Manager:

  • Version 2.0 refines the stop-loss validation logic against breakouts and counter-trend moves.
  • The number of trades shown in the panel is now configurable, keeping things readable on smaller screens.
  • Positions without a defined stop now show a clear indicator rather than a misleading value.

FX family: symbol variants and reliable alerts

  • FX Power and FX Volume now support additional symbol variants, including gold-suffix formats used by certain brokers. Users at XM Global and similar brokers who previously ran into compatibility issues can now rely on the indicator working correctly.
  • FX Dynamic gained an open-line function consistent with the existing ATR lines.
  • Custom Alerts alert filtering logic was refined, and session handling made more precise.

EasyTrade: lot sizing for crypto-based accounts

Traders using EasyTrade on an account denominated in a crypto currency now get correct lot calculations. This was not reliably handled before.

2025 put the Stein Investments product range on a broader base: more asset classes, better data quality, more reliable execution. That was the groundwork for what followed in 2026.
