SI Connect

SI Connect is the free background service that brings Stein Investments' external data into your MetaTrader terminal. It runs quietly on one chart, downloads the data, keeps a local cache, and serves it to every SI product in the terminal that needs it. FX Volume runs on that data; so do the volume features of Custom Alerts and EasyInsight. If you use any of those, SI Connect is the piece that makes them work. Set it up once and it looks after itself.

How traders use it

SI Connect is set-and-forget. The standard setup: open your terminal, attach SI Connect to one chart (a small, dedicated window works well), wait for the status to confirm the connection, then load your other SI products as usual. From there it handles data delivery on its own, reconnecting if your internet drops and adjusting for daylight-saving changes as they happen.

One instance is the whole job. However many SI products you run in that terminal, a single SI Connect feeds all of them, detecting which products are active and pulling the matching data. After a restart it reads its local cache straight away and re-establishes the server connection in the background, so your products have data from the moment they load.

Supported markets

Available for MT4 and MT5. SI Connect itself is symbol-independent, running on any chart and serving data for whatever the connected SI products cover.

Getting started

Download SI Connect free from the MQL5 Market and attach it to one chart in your terminal. Allow Stein Investments' data URL under Tools - Options - Expert Advisors so SI Connect can reach the server, then check the status comment: a confirmed connection means your other SI products are ready to receive data.
