Has the move already spent the day's range, or is there still room? FX Dynamic shows how much of an instrument's average daily range the current move has consumed: three configurable zones (80%, 100%, 130%) mark room-to-run versus exhaustion. MT4 and MT5.
You spot a strong move and want in, but has it already spent the day's range, or is there still room? FX Dynamic answers that as a percentage: how much of a symbol's average daily range (ATR) the current move has already consumed. Three configurable zones (80%, 100% and 130% of that range) mark the line between a move with room to run and one that has mostly played out.
A common use case is late-entry filtering. A trader sees a strong breakout on EURUSD, then realizes it started three hours before they looked at the chart. FX Dynamic shows the move has already consumed 95% of the daily ATR. The trade can still work, but at 95% consumed it calls for different position sizing and a different expectation than an entry at 40%. Chasing a full-size position into a move near its statistical daily limit is simply a different proposition.
Intraday traders use the 80% zone as a soft exit signal or a cue to tighten stops. Once price reaches the 100% line, a pullback or consolidation becomes more likely than continued extension.
All forex pairs, plus metals, indices, crypto, and any instrument with ATR data. All standard timeframes. MT4 and MT5. SI Connect optional, for sharper session-timing accuracy.
Attach FX Dynamic to your chart and set the three zone thresholds to match how you define an overextended move. If you trade across sessions or timezones, connecting SI Connect keeps the GMT calculation accurate. The tutorial at https://youtu.be/I419QEwxqWQ covers the zone logic, setting up the threshold alerts, and using the multi-symbol panel for session-wide monitoring.
Power Candles gives you the strength context: why a move is happening; FX Dynamic gives you the distance: how far it has already gone. Run both and you read every move on two dimensions: quality and quantity. FX Trend adds the directional filter. And once you are in, Smart Stop Indicator places the stop and tracks its distance against the same average daily range, so entry timing and stop placement read off one yardstick.
