It runs Power Bar's extreme-candle detection across your whole watchlist in real time, surfaces every hit in one sortable panel, and alerts you the moment a fresh one forms. The significant bars come to you, instead of you hunting for them chart by chart.

How traders use it

Traders covering a spread of pairs, metals or indices run Power Bar Scanner as a background monitor through the session. The per-symbol alert pings you when an extreme candle forms, so the panel can run unwatched. When you do look, the Age column tells you instantly whether a signal is fresh or already aging out of relevance.

The Ratio column shows how extreme each bar actually is against ATR. A bar at 3.2x ATR is a different proposition from one at 1.1x that just crossed the threshold. Sort by Ratio and the most significant formations sit at the top, so you work the strongest setups first and drop to marginal ones only if nothing better is triggering. Click a row and you are on that chart in one move.

Getting started

Attach Power Bar Scanner to a chart in MT5: the chart's timeframe sets the ATR basis for every symbol it scans. Add your symbols to the Market Watch, set the ATR multiplier and period to match your Power Bar indicator settings, and the panel starts populating. Keeping the ATR parameters the same across both tools keeps the scanner and the chart detail consistent.
